About me
Cameron is an experienced application security engineer who prefers spending energy on helping engineering teams develop efficient processes for building secure software. With a background that spans healthcare, fintech, and analytics, he’s built and led AppSec programs at companies like SAS, TaxBit, and SelectHealth by designing scalable workflows, embedding security into CI/CD pipelines, and aligning AppSec efforts with engineering goals.
His efforts focus on building trust-driven security practices that scale with engineering. Before moving into security, Cameron led product development in the food manufacturing industry, where he learned the value of process design, cross-functional communication, and customer focus — lessons that still shape his work today.
Outside of work, Cameron supports the OWASP Salt Lake City chapter, enjoys trail running, mt. biking, and spending time with his family in the Wasatch mountains
