Greg Ahira leads enterprise security transformation at scale across global enterprises including Lundin Mining, GE, Cisco and Webex. He governs product, cloud, OT, incident response, identity and vulnerability programs that align security strategy with measurable business outcomes and sustained investment performance.
Within Cisco’s Security and Trust organization, he defined the Cloud Security Program and established the Visibility and Control Risk Framework, delivering executive visibility into risk exposure across 150+ global manufacturing sites. At GE, he led the Cyber Program Management Office within Assessment Services and Industrial Security, overseeing application, product and OT security in highly regulated environments. He directed the Product Security Incident Response Team, led GE Healthcare to official CVE Numbering Authority designation, earning the GE Impact Award and Lean Challenge Award for measurable security performance improvement.
Greg advances cybersecurity as a strategic investment discipline, translating emerging technologies such as AI into quantifiable risk, resilience and return on investment to enable confident executive and board decisions. He holds CISSP, CISM and CISA certifications, serves on the Digital Governance StandardsInstitute Technical Committee for AI, and is a named inventor on nanotechnology patents.
