About me
Known to friends as "NorisGPT", I'm a recovering software engineer turned Security Solutions Consultant at Forward Security. After writing code for the RCMP, Disney, Microsoft, and HP, I transitioned from building enterprise software to driving AppSec and DevSecOps growth. I specialize in helping organizations navigate the complex reality of security automation and partnerships.
Deeply embedded in the community, Noris serves as an Associate Director for ISACA, a member of the OWASP GenAI Project, and an organizer for both CyberSci and BSides Vancouver. On a personal note, Noris is a former varsity athlete and a meditation instructor who has partnered with UNESCO and UNICEF to lead wellness projects as far away as Egypt.
