About me
Kirk is an Electrical Engineer and Robotics Technologist with years of experience in high-tech industries -- marine, automotive, renewables, and entertainment. He has worn many hats, professionally and personally, including product designer, product line manager, consultant, mentor, adjunct professor, and maker, specializing in embedded electronics, mechatronics, and systems engineering. He has taught as an Adjunct Professor in the Integrated Engineering department at UBC, is a Board Director with the BC Society of Engineering & Geoscience (BCSEG), and a Board Member of the Canadian Satellite Design Challenge Management Society (CSDCMS).
