Marcelo Caiado is a seasoned cybersecurity expert and educator with over 25 years of experience in digital forensics, incident response, and information security leadership. He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) in Vancouver, where he teaches Digital Forensics in the Master of Science in Cybersecurity program.Throughout his distinguished career, Marcelo has held pivotal roles at the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office (MPF) in Brazil, including Head of Computer Forensics and Head of the Information Security Division. He has led high-profile investigations into complex cybercrimes and has managed security for expansive institutional infrastructures.A recognized voice in the global forensics community, Marcelo is an official instructor for industry-leading cybersecurity, digital and mobile forensics, and threat intelligence certifications. Marcelo holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Brasília (UnB) and maintains numerous industry credentials, including CISSP, GCFA, and GCIH.
