  1. Download the Sched App for your TICKET QR CODE
  • Our conference schedule is programmed into the Sched app. 
  • Visit your preferred, trusted app store to download Sched
  • Once installed, find BSides Vancouver and you can review the talk tracks and plan which ones you'd like to attend
  1. Brush up your LinkedIn
  • BSides is the perfect time to network and connect with attendees and sponsors. If you're looking for your next role, make sure your LinkedIn is up to date
  1. Note the Date & Time of Delivery
  • Workshops take place at varying times on Sunday, May 31st. You must purchase a workshop ticket in order to attend. There will not be tickets available at the door 
  • The conference + sponsor hall + afterparty take place on Monday, June 1st
  • You must purchase a ticket in order to attend. Tickets may be made available at the door but it is dependent on the number of registrants, available at a first come, first serve basis, and will not be offered at the pre-conference price point. 
  1. Review Transit and/or Parking Options
  • Address of the venue is 515 W Hastings St.
  • This is highly accessible by public transit (both Bus and SkyTrain)
  • There are several parking lots nearby, we recommend using Parkopedia - https://en.parkopedia.ca/parking/vancouver/ to find the right parking lot for you
  • Rideshare options are also available. Downtown Vancouver has Uber & Lyft
7. What to Bring:
  • SwagBag is included in your ticket and will be issued with your badge upon check-in 
  • Bring a refillable Water Bottle, there are refill stations around the venue
  • If your ticket includes a t-shirt (Elite and VIP), you will be given instructions on where to collect it

Are You Visiting from Out of Town?

Hotels:
  • BSides Vancouver 2026 does not have a preferred rate at any nearby hotels
  • Community members have had success with HotWire - Hot Rates - https://www.hotwire.com/hotels/. You choose which neighbourhood you'd like to stay at and know the hotel rating in advance, but in exchange for a Hot Rate discount, you don't know the actual hotel until you've completed your booking. 

Attractions:
  • Vancouver has a lot to offer. While here, visiting Stanley Park is an absolute must and the Vancouver Aquarium is a favourite for most. Let the community know you're looking for things to do and we'll point you in the right direction
Restaurants:
  • Reach out to the community (SLACK is your best bet) and look for recommendations. The community is more than happy to share their favourites based on type of cuisine, location, and/or price.
